Have you ever wondered what Jewish services or events are open and relevant to young Jewish professionals? And, are you often temped to try out events but can’t find friends to attend with? If yes, you’ve come to the right place — a dedicated site for Jewish Social Events that are relevant to Young Jewish Professionals in NYC.

The Jewish Singles Social Whatsapp Group was started in May 2021 by Arkadiy when he noticed there was a lack of in-person Jewish events in NYC at that time, as well as the absence of a network of people and friends to go to the events with.

The WhatsApp community has since grown to 360 members as of December 2022! While some members simply use the events tracker to find events, many members have formed friendships and attend events together (often weekly!). A majority of our members are Jewish, single, between 25-45 years old, and who live, work, or socialize in NYC.

How do we find out about events? Most of the events on the calendar/tracker are externally organized events submitted by members as they find out about them. However, we also organize some of our own social happy hours, picnics, brunches, etc. Events on the tracker include Friday Night Services and/or Shabbat meals, parties relevant to this group, or Jewish Holiday themed, but we also list events that our members would like to attend together (wine tastings, museum visits, picnics, etc.).
