Bier & Shir: A Night of Jewish Music (Astoria, Queens)

Start the summer with a backyard sampling of local beers and music from Jewish culture around the world at the Bier and Cheese Collective. 

Pianist Rabbi Jonathan Pearl (Ashreynu) brings together Raffi Boden, cello, of Mamaliga; Eitan Pearl, clarinet, Daniela Stivala and Judy Pearl, vocalists, of Ashreynu; Michael Laster, guitar; and Henry Martinez, guitar for this #QueensRising program.

These seven musicians come together for the first time to explore a diverse range of Jewish music, from Ladino to Klezmer to Greek to Farsi to Yemenite to Hebrew, right here in Queens – the language capital of the world. 

$10 cover includes a free beer or non-alcoholic drink. Additional craft beers and ingredient-kosher sandwiches and snacks will be available for purchase. Get tickets via the link or at door.
