Michael Levin had a deep commitment to Israel and the IDF. He was acutely aware of the challenges faced by Lone Soldiers who serve in the IDF without the support of family in Israel. As a Lone Soldier he understood the difficulties of navigating military service, living arrangements, and daily life. His dream was to establish an organization to meet the unique needs of Lone Soldiers. Tragically, Michael fell in the 2nd Lebanon War, but his parents Mark and Harriet Levin have kept his dream alive by establishing the Michael Levin Lone Soldier Foundation.
The Foundation is dedicated to fulfilling Michael’s dream and providing Lone Soldiers with the support they need to thrive before, during, and after their service. We fund a wide variety of programs and services including:
Shabbat and Holiday meals, Base Visits,
Pre and Post Army Resources,
Mental Health Counseling, and much more.
The Michael Levin Lone Soldier Foundation helps to create a real community for Lone Soldiers and serves as a resource and support to their parents as well.
As we celebrate Israel’s 75th birthday please remember that no matter what challenges Israel faces, Lone Soldiers are there to protect our homeland, Israel.
As a donor to The Michael Levin Lone Soldier Foundation, you will make a
real impact on the lives of our Lone Soldiers.
We cannot do this without YOU.
