Event Description
We’d love for you to join us for a special Community Initiatives evening on Tuesday, August 11th from 6:30 PM to 8:30 PM.
As we enter the last month of the Jewish calendar and prepare for Rosh Hashanah, we’re looking back on the year and setting intentions for the one ahead.
Every year, Met Council’s High Holiday distributions ensure that everyone can celebrate the holidays with dignity and culturally-appropriate food. Year-round, Met Council works to address the most urgent needs of those experiencing poverty, homelessness, domestic violence, or any other crisis while simultaneously using our considerable influence and resources to eliminate the root causes of these hardships at the societal and policy levels. This is how we repair the world.
Community Initiatives is launching its own campaign to support this work with our High Holiday Campaign. When you make a $36 donation and register for this campaign, you’ll also be invited to join our Campaign Kickoff Happy Hour, for young Jewish leaders (20s & 30s).
