Event Description
Join us for a beautiful hike in Putnam County where we will be exploring the Clarence Fahnestock State Park via the Old Mine Road and Three Lakes Trail Loop (see AllTrails link on Partiful page). This moderate leveled hike should last 1 hour and 23 minutes with beautiful views and sites. The exact length of the hike may vary depending on our speed and how many breaks we take. After Hike Mingle to follow for food and drink at the Cold Spring Depot Restaurant, an easy 2 minute drive or 6 minute walk from the Cold Spring MetroNorth train stop. Meetup Spot: Arrive by 11:30 am at the Cold Spring train stop via MetroNorth where we will head to the trailhead by carpooling once everyone has arrived. (12 minute ride from trailhead)
* Special Note: The time range of the event includes the optional After Hike Mingle and is flexible.*
Directions for those who don’t drive:
1) You could carpool with your friendly and welcoming group members (Very Popular Option)
OR
2) Take the train from Grand Central to the Cold Spring stop on the Hudson line of the MetroNorth. (12 minutes from the trailhead).
