The Jewish Community Project of Lower Manhattan (also known as JCP Downtown) isa vibrant and innovative hub for Jewish life. Founded in 2002 in response to the impact of 9/11 downtown, JCP has served the community for more than 20 years, offering programs for children, families, and adults seeking connection and lifelong friendships. At JCP, we meet people where they are and grow with them through every stage of their journey. We welcome all who seek a pluralistic Jewish experience rooted in the values of learning, connection, culture, and spirituality, engaging individuals of all religious orientations and identities. Through creativity, community, and countless opportunities to connect, we celebrate our rich tradition and foster meaningful relationships.
