Tzibur: Shabbat at Temple 5

NYC JEWISH SOCIAL
Friday night dinners, services and socials for Young Jewish Professionals, hosted by synagogues, Chabads and independent organizers across the city.
Almost all of these are run by other organizations around the city — synagogues, Chabads and independent hosts. We gather them in one place so you are not checking fifteen Instagram accounts to work out where to go on Friday night. Shabbat begins at sundown on Friday and ends after dark on Saturday, and most of what is listed here is Friday night.

Running a dinner we have missed? Submit it here, or see every upcoming Jewish event in NYC. If nothing here fits, OneTable.org may have something that does.
Most of what is listed here is a Friday night dinner — sometimes with a short service first, sometimes built around a neighborhood or a particular community. Three things worth knowing before you pick one.
Tickets range from free to around $70. Synagogue dinners are often among the cheapest, because they tend to be heavily subsidized.
Most of what we post is traditional, Reform or secular. Chabad options can be a bit more religious, though that varies too.
A lot of people do. Give different events and organizers a chance — they all have a different vibe, and you never know who you will meet.
You do not need to be observant, and you do not need to know anyone. The fastest way to hear what is happening each week is our WhatsApp community.
