Jewish Holiday Events in NYC

Every Jewish holiday event we know about across New York City, for people in their 20s and 30s. Parties, dinners, services and everything in between, gathered from organizations across the community.

The Jewish year in New York

The calendar has a rhythm to it. The autumn run of Rosh Hashanah, Yom Kippur and Sukkot is the densest stretch of the year. Hanukkah takes over December with eight nights of parties. Purim in late winter is the single biggest night out. Passover in spring is the most home-cooked of them, built around seders. In between sit the smaller ones — Tu B’Av in the summer, Shavuot in early summer — which tend to be a handful of events rather than dozens.
