Event Description
Join the Wandering Jews of Astoria (WJOA) in having an Upper West Side field trip for Shavuot! Join WJOA to have dinner at Hummus Place on the UWS, between 74th and 75th St on Amsterdam Ave. Discover why everyone says it’s the best hummus ever! Dinner will be from 6:30pm–8:30pm. You are purchasing your own dinner à la carte. Look at the menu here. After dinner we will walk over together, promptly at 8:30pm to JCC Manhattan to experience their Tikkun. We plan to attend the opening music performance, and after that everyone is on their own to experience the activities. *Make sure to bring your ID, as you must show it to get into the JCC. They are strict on security. Activities begin at 9pm and run hourly through 5am. See how long you can make it?!
JCC offers sessions of art, dance, wine tastings, cooking, music, film screening and Jewish discussions, as well as opportunities to socialize with each other while noshing on cheesecake.
